At BDC, we believe in quality as well as safe dentistry. Our standards are in line with those laid out for practicing dental surgeries in US & UK. We follow strict Instrument sterilization protocols and use the latest and best dental materials available in the business today, right from the chair where you sit, the spittoon where you spit to the instruments that we use in your mouth. We take utmost care so you can trust your health with us.
At the beginning of the day, The chairs and all moving/rotating parts are sprayed with antiseptic solution and wiped clean with a soft cloth and covered with disposable sheets. After every patient the same procedure is followed for the chairs to prevent cross infection among our patients.
Instrument Sterilization :
All instruments are thoroughly washed in antiseptic solutions, boiled and wiped clean. They are then packaged into sterile pouches and then placed into a digital autoclave and autoclaved at 121 degrees. At this temperature all known disease causing bacteria are known to be killed. This is the standard autoclaving procedure followed in Operation Theatres worldwide.
Disposable materials :
We use a fresh, new pair of gloves for every patient that is disposed off immediately after the treatment is completed. All gloves are torn as well so there is no question of whether any of them were ever used before. In addition we use disposable masks, suction tips and plastic glasses.
All local anesthetic is given from sealed syringes and disposed off immediately after treatment. Dentists and patients mandatorily wear "Blue Blockers" (glasses) during tooth whitening procedures to prevent any harm to the eyes. Besides all this, special precautions and preparations are carried out before, during and after any surgical procedure, tooth extraction as well as implant placement. We use instruments that are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and sterilized as explained earlier before any surgery, all non disposable instruments, equipments, light etc. are covered with green autoclaved sheets.
So, we take complete care for the safety as well as not only oral health but also the General health of our patients.
